Marketplace Shipping Notice: Local Marketplace works with independent suppliers through Shopify Collective. Shipping rates, methods, and delivery times may vary by supplier. Items in the same order may ship separately and may use different carriers. All estimated delivery times shown on our website or in Google Merchant Center are based on supplier-provided information.

Overview

Local Marketplace partners with independent brands and suppliers through Shopify Collective. All products listed on our website are fulfilled and shipped directly by the supplier, unless otherwise stated on the product page. Because we work with multiple suppliers, shipping times, methods, and carriers may vary between products.

We believe in full transparency about how your order is processed and delivered. Below is everything you need to know about shipping when shopping on Local Marketplace.

Who Ships My Order?

All orders on Local Marketplace are supplied and fulfilled by our Shopify Collective partner brands. This means your order may ship directly from the supplier’s warehouse or business location, different items in the same order may arrive separately, and shipping carriers may vary based on the supplier.

Local Marketplace coordinates customer support, but suppliers manage the fulfillment of their own products.

Processing Time

Processing time is the time it takes the supplier to prepare your order before shipping. Typical processing times are 1–3 business days, though this may vary depending on the product or supplier.

If a supplier provides specific processing time details on a product page, those details take priority.

Shipping Time

Shipping time refers to how long it takes for your order to arrive once shipped. Estimated delivery times are:

  • Canada: 3–8 business days
  • United States: 3–10 business days

Actual delivery times depend on supplier location, carrier choice, customs processing for cross-border shipments, weather, and carrier delays. These delivery windows are estimates provided by the suppliers and carriers.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and may vary based on destination, supplier location, product size and weight, and carrier rates.

If you order items from multiple suppliers, you may see separate shipping charges for each shipment.

Multiple Shipments

Because orders may include products from different suppliers, items may ship separately. You may receive multiple tracking numbers and packages may arrive on different days. Each supplier may use a different shipping carrier.

Tracking Your Order

When your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Tracking updates begin once the supplier creates the shipping label.

If you do not receive tracking information within the typical processing window, contact us at localmarketplace.co.24@gmail.com and we will follow up with the supplier on your behalf.

Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, is delayed, or does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, email us at localmarketplace.co.24@gmail.com with your order number and tracking information. We will coordinate with the supplier to resolve the issue according to their policies.

International Shipping

Local Marketplace suppliers currently ship to:

  • Canada
  • United States

Some suppliers may have regional shipping restrictions. International shipments may be subject to customs duties or taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility. Cross-border delays may impact delivery times.

Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. If you entered the wrong address, contact us immediately.

If the order has already shipped, the address cannot be changed. Additional charges for re-shipment may apply if the supplier allows reshipment.

Marketplace Transparency

Local Marketplace works with independent suppliers through Shopify Collective. Products are supplied, fulfilled, and shipped by third-party suppliers, and shipping timelines depend on the supplier fulfilling your order.
